Greater Cincinnati has masjids spread across the metro and over the river into Kentucky, and which one you end up at usually comes down to your commute rather than anything else. Addresses below were checked against Google in August 2026.
A note on prayer times. Do not rely on any list, including this one, for salah timings. Every masjid sets its own iqamah and adjusts through the year, and Ramadan and Eid schedules change again. Check the masjid's own website or app, or call ahead.
Butler and Warren counties
- Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati (ICGC) — 8092 Plantation Dr, West Chester, OH 45069 · (513) 755-3280 · icgc.us. The largest in the region: an 18-acre campus with the masjid, a community centre and an education building, plus a full-time Islamic day school. It opened in November 1995 and was the first building in Cincinnati purpose-built as a mosque. Convenient for families in West Chester, Liberty Township, Mason and Fairfield.
- Islamic Center of Mason — 108 Williams St, Mason, OH 45040 · (513) 426-9999 · masonmasjid.com. Serving the community since 2013, with five daily prayers, jumu'ah, taraweeh in Ramadan and Islamic education.
- Dar-E-Zehra Islamic Center — 7285 Cincinnati Dayton Rd, West Chester, OH 45069 · (513) 427-6050
The city
- Clifton Mosque — 3668 Clifton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45220 · (513) 221-4003 · cliftonmosque.org. Serving Cincinnati Muslims since 1969 and the natural choice for students and anyone living near the UC campus. Runs a steady programme of classes and community events.
- Greater Cincinnati Islamic Association (GCIA) — 7762 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45237 · (513) 407-3249 · roselawnmosque.org. Often called the Roselawn mosque.

Clifton Mosque and ICGC are both operated by the Islamic Association of Cincinnati, so their calendars and announcements often run together.
East side
- Ihsan Islamic Center — 6070 Branch Hill-Guinea Pike, Milford, OH 45150. Well regarded for its Arabic curriculum, and the closest option for families in Milford, Loveland and Anderson.
Northern Kentucky
- Islamic Center of Northern Kentucky — 8020 Action Blvd, Florence, KY 41042 · (859) 594-4100 · ic-nk.com. The main option south of the river, for families in Florence, Union and Burlington.
- Islamic Association — Covington, KY. Smaller, and handy if you are closer to the river.
Communities differ in language, madhhab and how the khutbah is delivered. If that matters to you, visit once on a Friday before settling anywhere — nobody will mind.
If you are new here
A few things worth knowing:
- Eid prayers are the exception to the commute rule. The larger Eid jamaats are often held in rented halls or convention space rather than at the masjid itself, and the location is announced only a week or two ahead. Watch the Facebook group.
- The masjids talk to each other. Several belong to All Tri-States Masjids, a network spanning Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Dayton, so announcements tend to circulate across the whole region.
- Ask about weekend school early. Places in Islamic and Arabic weekend classes fill up before the school year starts, not after it.
- For janaza and bereavement, contact the masjid directly and tell the community group as well — see the emergency contacts page. People will organise around you quickly.
