For anything life-threatening, call 911 before calling the community helpline. Ambulances and police do not ask about immigration status.
Language help is available
Hospitals in Ohio must provide a free interpreter on request. Ask for one — do not rely on a child to translate medical information.

Keep passports, I-94, insurance cards and an emergency contact list in one folder that any family member can find quickly.
