Cinty Bangla's first event after the group went up on Facebook in April 2015. The details were carried over from the community's older Yahoo group, which is where members had been organising until then.
The hall ran from 10:30 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon, with everyone pitching in to clean up and vacate on time. Sixteen people came — a useful number to remember now that the group is nearly four hundred.
